Help us aquire the resources we need
Our current Journalism and Media students require more computers to help edit their films and adapt themselves to the various and new technologies.

Books
Our students enrolled in the Media course require equipment to learn and experiment with film, as a medium. Part of their gradable assignment requires an original student film to be shot, directed and edited. We are currently unable to fulfill their needs with our limited and outdated camera equipment.
Samvada has an excellent collection of books in Kannada and English on various social themes made available for students, professionals and lecturers.
We also have a film library on various social themes and issues ranging from Women, Dalits, Environment, and Agriculture etc.

Dining Table Set
We currently require a microwave in our pantry so our faculty and students may heat up their lunch, afternoon beverages etc
We are currently spending large amounts of funds on transporting our students to-and-from their exposures, trips, theatre events by hiring various taxi/auto services. We would prefer to raise funds to buy/own a mid-sized school bus that can be used for all our students.
Samvada does not have a formal dining area and we would like to create a space where all our students and faculty can congregate and share a meal together.
Let us know if you are moving home or spring cleaning! We are looking for tables and chairs.

Warm Blankets
Many of our courses are residential and during the winter, our students require many warm blankets to keep them warm. Call us if you would like to drop some off!
Rice/ atta
Samvada provides 3 healthy meals a day and a small snack along with tea/coffee to our students everyday for free.
Please contact us if you would like to donate a bag of rice.
Many of our students traverse long distances before they reach our college and public transporation proves expensive. Help our students get to college easily and leave a zero carbon footprint!
