Anu and Krishna
Founders of Thulir School for Tribal Children were Samvada Fellows from 1991-93
Byatha Jagadeesh
An advocate for poor prisoners, who began his explorations into self and society through Samvada discussions, exposures and mentoring.
Samvada has supported young people who had passion, commitment and dreams of changing the world. We fostered dreams and helped translate ideas into concrete actions on the ground. The Fellowship included a modest stipend and lots of conversations, sharing of dilemmas, delighting in their successes and reaching out when the path got rough.
Dr. Bhagyalakshmi
Founded Sakhi to work with dalit girls in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She was a Samvada Fellow in 2002.
