Objective:

  • To facilitate the emergence of Child Care as a profession by developing domain knowledge and offering an academically rigorous learning experience through a comprehensive course

  • To provide livelihood opportunity for young women from disadvantaged communities by building their skills and perspectives to access employment as Child Care Professionals in the expanding Child Care Market.

  • To position Child Care services as the right of working women, and a fundamental right of all children irrespective of class and creed.

Early Childhood Care and Education

Youth work

Samvada’s involvement with a campaign to establish quality crèches inside garment factories led us on a multifaceted journey. Our collaborations with ECCE training centres and dialogues with garment brands, state agencies, factories & trade unions finally convinced us of the need to promote childcare as a meaningful profession for young people!

Duration:

Diploma course: 6 months [Full-time course]

 

Referesher courses [for those who are already working in creshes] : 2 weeks
